Point to point train tickets are ideal for single journeys and for those who know exactly where they want to go. There is a wide range of fares that vary depending on where you are travelling.

Travelling between cities has never been more efficient with fast convenient connections between major cities. Most stations are located in the middle of the city so when you step off the train you are right in the thick of the action.

What is a point to point ticket?

On trains within Britain you receive an open ticket + a seat reservation. The open ticket is valid for two months but the seat reservation is for a specific train.

Are seat reservations compulsory?

Seat reservations on trains within Britain are not compulsory they are optional. You can purchase your open ticket (which is valid for two months) and just simply hop on the train you wish to travel on. Of course it depends on which class you purchase. If you purchase First class then you can sit anywhere in First class and the same rule applies for a Second class ticket. If you have a certain date and time you would like to travel then we suggest you reserve a seat that way you are guaranteed a seat on that particular train. ( Note: we cannot book seat reservations on trains within Britain if the journey is shorter than 2hrs. We also cannot book overnight services in Britain).
