the pass allowed you to jump the que in many circumstances, with access to a great guide book with many tips and special savings. Its a shame that you had to go and collect the pass, rather than it being sent directly to you before arriving.

The London Pass, along with 7 day 6 zone travelcard was excellent. You don't have to get the travelcard with the London Pass but it is much easier to do as the London underground network makes travel a breeze. The pass covers nearly all major attractions in and around London and is great value for money

4. "Very good but a nuisance being only able to collect it at one location."

The London Pass book is a great planning tool. Using this we plotted our way through some of the UK's most interesting heritage and tourist sights. Coupled with the Travel Pass and ideal and easy way of enjoying these sights.

We had a six day passes and feel that we got good value. We travelled early in the New Year and so possibly did not experience any adanatges of 'skipping queues' as had been advertised as queues were virtually non-existent. As stated in th handbook, booking tours is definitely recommended as the groups were often at a maximum capacity (such as at Wimbledon and Royal Albert Hall) even during the low season. Be mindful that the ferry pass is only valid for a day (NOT 24 hours as we had incorrectly believed because of not carefully reading the handbook) and so you will only get value from the hop on - hop off option if you start early in the day. Don't bother with the London Bridge Experience - so disappointing and irrelevant that we and numerous others left the group as soon as we could. A waste of time.

If you only want to do the tourists traps get this, for us not worth it. But it did get us to two places we would not have gone, Eltham Palace and Chelsea Physic Garden, both excellent.
