This is a great service and the most cost effective way of getting from Rome Termini Station to the Fiumicino Airport in my view. Fast and frequent sevice.

This is a good service to get you out to Rome airport and much cheaper than a taxi or limousine. The only hiccup we encountered was that we arrived at Rome termini on platform 5 and then had to get to platform 29 with our luggage, and no sight of a trolley or porter. We're seniors and found it a rather arduous trek, on a very hot day. I think there was a shorter route but it meant carrying our heavy suitcases down a flight of stairs and up again a bit further along, again, no elevator in sight. The Leonardo express was very crowded, but in my opinion, the best way to get to the airport, and the cheapest.

Once we found the airport train station the trip into Rome was great. We were warned about pickpockets but we experienced no problems at Termini Station other than the airport train arrived down the back end of the station with a long walk to get into the Termini proper. A sleazy, suspicious looking character on the train who did not have a ticket, the police met him at the end of the trip.

The platform allocation was given 2mins before train dep making it very tiresome to get to the platform & load the luggage onbrd the train.

The inforamtion I found on your site indicated that trains from Termini to Da Vinci airport run half hourly it did not indicate a start time for the day. We had to be at the airport at 4-45 am and the first train to the airport was not until 5-52. So I wasted 42 euros on the tickests as we had to take a taxi
