Berlin - Warsaw

• Duration: 6hrs
• Price: Tickets cost $94pp 2nd class including seat reservations. If you hold a valid rail pass you will require a passholder fare at an additional cost of $47pp.
• Reservations are compulsory

Snack car travels through the coach and there is also a restaurant on board.
Your Poland Rail Pass will allow you to travel on a passholder fare on this train. You do not need to have a rail pass for Germany as well.

Warsaw

The capital city of Poland has plenty to offer visitors. Whether your idea of a good day out is relaxing in the sunshine drinking a good beer, visiting museums, wandering down alleyways and through building centuries old, visiting a castle, modern architecture or simply partaking in a hearty meal Warsaw has it all!
The Old town with its market square is definitely worth a visit and has plenty of activities on offer.

Warsaw - Krakow

• Duration: 3hrs
• Price: Open tickets are $51pp 2nd class without a pass. Approx $21 for a seat reservation.
• Reservations are compulsory.
  

A beautiful journey through the Polish countryside.

Krakow

Krakow is a lovely old town with plenty to see and do. If you have time you may also like to take a bus tour out to the salt mines. These mines are quite spectacular but be sure to take some warm clothing as it can be quite cool when you are 400 metres underground!

Krakow - Zakopane- Krakow

• Duration: 2 1/2 hours by express train or 3 1/2 hours by fast train.
• Price: Tickets are $33pp one way in 2nd class. This is an open dated ticket. Seat cannot be booked from Australia therefore if you are travelling with a valid rail pass you may travel free of charge. Alternatively please check locally if you wish to book a seat at an additional cost.
• Reservations are not compulsory

Zakopane and the Tatras Mountains

Hike the Polish mountains. A cable car can take those that cannot bear to take the 4 hour climb to the top. This makes a great day trip from Krakow or alternatively you can stay overnight in the mountains then continue your onward journey from there.

Krakow- Auschwitz (Osweicim)- Krakow

• Duration: 1 1/2 hrs
• Price: $19pp each way in 2nd class. This is an open ticket only. Seat cannot be booked from Australia therefore if you are travelling with a valid rail pass you may travel free of charge.
• Reservations cannot be made for this journey
  

A 1 1/2 hour journey on a small local train to Osweicim (the Polish name for Auschwitz) and then a short bus trip or 1 1/2km walk to the Concentration camp.

Auschwitz

English guided Tours are available at certain times throughout the day (usually each hour- depending on demand) where you will visit both Auschwitz Birkenau (the Death camp) and also Auschwitz 1 which is the original camp.
