Munich is famous for the Oktoberfest, held in the last week of September each year. However if you happen to be visiting at a differnet time of year there is always plenty to do in Munich. If you have some time to travel outside Munich then the 1 hour train and bus (not included in cost) trip is well worth it to see Neuschwanstein Castle.
