Travel classes

There are 3 classes of travel on the Eurostar (Please note: Leisure Select will be withdrawn and only valid for departures up to 31st August and replaced with Standard Premier from September 1st):

Business Premier seat photoBusiness premier class

A Business Premier fare offers a first class service designed specifically for the business traveller:

  • Exclusive Eurostar lounge access in London, Paris and Brussels.
  • Complimentary meals at your seat including wine, beer and soft drinks **
  • Dedicated ticket desk and check-in desks.
  • Fast track check-in (miniumum 10 minutes) prior to departure from London, Paris or Brussels.
  • Dedicated Business Premier carriages.
  • Power sockets at seat, both UK and European compatible.
  • 'Express breakfast' option.
  • Newspapers and magazines on-board.
  • Eurostar is offering complimentary Wi-Fi connection in the business lounges at London, Paris and Brussels and in the departure lounge at Ashford.

Leisure select classLeisure select class

  • Only valid for sale for departures until 31st August, 2010.
  • Offering first class service for the leisure traveller including bigger seats and more space than Standard Class.
  • Complimentary meals at your seat including wine, beer and soft drinks **
  • Dedicated carriages for exclusive Leisure select customers.
  • 30-minute check-in prior to departure.
  • Newspapers and magazines on-board.
  • Power sockets at seat, both UK and European compatible.

Standard Premier will replace Leisure Select for travels as of 1st September, 2010.

  • Offering first class service for the leisure traveller including bigger seats and more space than Standard Class.
  • A light and cold meal served at your seat, complimentary beer and wine.
  • Dedicated carriages and welcome at the entrance of the carriage.
  • 30-minute check-in prior to departure.
  • Newspapers and magazines on-board.
  • Power sockets at seat, both UK and European compatible.

Standard ClassStandard class

  • Excellent value.
  • 30-minute check-in prior to departure.
  • High speed, city-centre to city-centre for convenience.
  • Bar-buffet serving light meals, snacks and drinks (at an additional cost).

** High quality meals served at you seat according to the time of travel (Business Premier and Leisure Select only).

  • Breakfast until 11:00am: choice of hot or cold continental breakfast.
  • Lunch from 11:00am to 2:00pm: three course menu.
  • Afternoon meal from 2:00pm to 4:30pm three course meal consisting of starter, a light hot main course, and pastries served with tea/coffee. Customers have the option to have pastries with tea/coffee only, if a full meal is not required.
  • Dinner from 4:30pm from Paris/Bruxelles and from 4:00pm from London: four course menu with a choice of two main dishes.
